Matilda and Granny Elisabeth~Matilda and “Granny” Elisabeth~Matilda and Granny Elisabeth by tsubasamemories16
Matilda knew her parents loved her, they reminded her as often as possible. But just like any other king and queen Matilda’s parents were often busy with their royal duties. So the time Matilda actually spent with them was usually brief. But even though Matilda didn’t see her parents as often as she wished she could, she never truly felt lonely. After all she had her thirteen older brothers even if some of them like Kaspar and Devon scared her at times, and she even had her four older sisters, even if she would never understand their fascination with dresses that were adorned with intricate beading and lace. Whenever she had to wear a gown to a ball she always worried she’d spill something on it or trip and cause the skirt to rip. Matilda wasn’t normally clumsy, but the moment she was forced into a elegant gown that was covered in beading and crystals she immediately lost all the grace she normally had, and became the worlds biggest klutz. But no matter how hard Matilda tried to find a way to avoid royal dances her father and mother always insisted that as a Princess of the Southern Isles it was her duty to attend these events. So Matilda would don a gown and mingle with nobility and gentry alike, no matter how much she wished she was rather off somewhere riding her favourite horse, pr
